Tonight the Temple in Los Angeles held a 1000 Candle DharmaRite for the Chinese New Year…

Many of us joined in on Skype and did the Sanskrit Mantras for the rite to rid one’s life of disasters and to bring in the Goodness and the Light for the New Year….

I have attended many of these 1000 Candle ceremonies over the years.  They are so pretty, and also the public attends and participates by lighting individual candles for blessings for their families and friends. 

It was moving to me to be connected via Skype with the inside of the temple, knowing Master’s relics are now there in the crystal stupa.  His Presence is definitely felt…

For the New Year, here’s a story of a day I had with Master:

Master was doing a workshop gathering outdoors in LA at a woman’s home in the country.  Master was speaking outside in the beautiful lawn with a light wind blowing through lush trees.  He was speaking about how important it is to get into the natural rhythms of nature, to be at ease and in grace, but mostly to let go and become one with nature, and to recognzie that there is a rhythm of the Universe.  At that point, I could see the trees moving in a different way in the wind:  it just seemed magical, animated, all in the higher consciousness Master was emitting..  It all seemed to be communicating exactly what he was discussing.  Later in the day, the woman who owned the land took us for a walk.  We stopped under a fig tree, and she told Master that it had not bloomed or produced fruit for over 10 years,  Master told her within a couple of days he would help it to blossom.  We came back the next day, and it was blossoming. 

I hope you enjoy your new year… We are all still doing daily Dharma Rites, via Skype with the
Los Angeles temple for our beloved Master until February 18th, which will conclude the 49-day rite.

Today, January 1, 2011, at noon (PST) there is a dharma rite occurring in Los Angeles at Dari Rulai Temple.
The Master’s remains will be consecrated to a Crystal Stupa in L.A.

It is with great sadness that I announce that our Precious Master Yu Tian Jian (Dechan Jueren)  has passed
away in Chaoyong, China on December 23, 2011 at 9:09 a.m.   Dechan Jueren was a Dharma King,
the Lineage Holder of  the Hanmi School of Esoteric Buddhism, and also had become the current
Lineage Holder for Chan Zen in China.  Deeply loved by millions worldwide, the beloved Master will
be greatly missed.

Due to the Master’s endless Service to mankind, he had trained many of his disciples worldwide to utilize
healing sanskrit mantras, in addition to his empowerments, to heal others of sickness. Dechan Jueren
had himself healed thousands of people suffering with life-threatening illnesses. His teachings focused on
The Wisdom Path, and that Enlightenment could be one’s destiny this lifetime.

Cremation will occur in China on December 27th (which is USA Time: Dec. 26 PST Monday)

The Dari Rulai Temple in LA will be conducting Dharma Rites for him daily at 11 a.m. PST. Students
and disciples are urged to join an international conference call to participate in the Dharma Rites.

Dechan Jueren holds the complete teachings of the Mahavairocana Buddha (passed down by Nagarajuna Boddhisattva to Vajraboddhi, Subbakarasimba, and Amoghavajra.) He is the 49th Master/Lineage Bearer of the Hanmi Esoteric Lineage, and in 2008, the Master also added to his world responsibilities by becoming the new Master and Lineage Holder of the Linji Chan Zen School (the most authentic and recognized Zen lineage in China). Having a Shrine here in Oregon brings an opportunity for sentient beings in the area to gather and pray, meditate, and learn more about the healing powers of mantras. In addition, workshops and empowerments will be given in the future to learn the great Medicine Buddha Dharma. It will be taught by qualified practitioners (empowered to transmit) this awesome, esoteric healing practice that focuses on purifying your body, the air you breathe, the water you drink, and the food you eat.   The Medicine Buddha Dharma mantra system can help you and others immensely.

I plan to be organizing a large event in the future in Ashland, Oregon, to bring Living Buddha Dechan Jueren to Oregon. We are honored to have the Master coming to our are ~  he is a highly esteemed Dharma King, and it is a special destiny to receive his transmissions of healing, blessings, and/or empowerments in person.
